My very tall yellow rose with pink blush

'Peace' like?

It is Bjs. But, the flower is much smaller and the plant much taller. I have Peace as well.

I like the pink blush and a bonus if it has a sensational scent :o)

It is quite "formal and elegant" in character but the perfume is stronger and I like the fact that it is also distinctively yellow.

Klahanie, I wrote its name to you some years ago: this is Gloria Dei (name in Europe, excluding France), or Peace in the USA.

P.S. Size of flowers can depend on the place. If the rose is partially shaded, they are smaller. If it is on a full sun, they develop into large flowers.

Katarina, I now remember the conversation. How could I forget!(My age?) It is probably what they call here climbing Peace rose indeed. It really does not need a support as other climbers...it is just very tall with strong stems to support its flowers. It blooms continuously all year round. I do not have to cut the spent flowers it drops them by itself.
It has a very good spot in my garden. Full sun. I was confused because it is much more yellow and has smaller flowers than my "Peace". But other than that it has all characteristics of "Peace" which I have as well. Thank you for reminding me :-)

What you described, are typical characteristics of the Peace rose. It is growing on strong thick stems, that is why in some gardens it is pruned as a stem rose or shrub rose.
