Doncaster x williamsianum
Breeder: D Hobbie 1952
Named after D Hobbie's head gardener.
I bought it last year as a very small plant because of these new leaves.

It is shade of red Tommymoo....but I love the new leaves more than the flower :-) I actually got it for the leaves not flower.

Thank you Feverfew. I recently bought several plants and rhododendrons just because I liked the leaves. I do not know what the flowers look like yet :-)
