Daylily - 'Dragonfly Dawn'

All the colors together makes this one very special...

A couple of years ago, when this first came out, seeds from it were selling up to $125/5 seeds on the Lily Auction site. Only 2 more weeks and I might be getting the first ripe pod of the year: this × Frankenflower.

I have made so many crosses with this, I've put a stop to using it as pod parent. It has had 5 scapes, so there are going to be tough choices in the fall on which seeds to start. On that flower program I use, I can call up the crosses I have made by parent, and the list for this one (both ways) is huge.

I'm not surprised you've used it a lot the colouring is very unusual :-)
