This is the first time I have tried growing these, now wish I had planted more.

Well as I said this is a first for me, but no problems at all up to now, and no lily beetle. Sorry yours did not come up Hywel, all I can tell you these are planted in full sun , in free draining soil.

I planted them in a pot. Maybe they were poor bulbs.
