Definitely..... but.... Centranthus ruber is also called Red Valerian. I think that is what was Sandra referring to.
The one in your previous picture was Centranthus ruber (otherwise known as" red valerian". LOL) It is not medicinally of such importance as Valeriana officinalis in this picture but it is edible.

Thank you vey much. That is what I wanted to know, Klahanie. So now I understand, that red valerian is just term, it is not red sort of medicinal plant. Thank you very much for explanation :-)
