Tropaeolum polyphyllum - 2015

A sprawling plant, growing from tubers which move to quite a depth. This makes it hardier as it gets older. Initially I planted this under a prostrate juniper which gave it protection when young and a platform to clamber over. The conifer has now gone, but the tropaeolum remains.
