Yes Dawn I've grown a few iris in the past and its usually 2 years sometimes 3.
A few more opened today all slightly different shades of dark purple was hoping for something a bit different, oh well still 3 or 4 that don't look like they'll flower this year to look forward to, and the iris Ensata I grew at the same time only got 4 plants of those, not sure if they'll flower this year no sign of buds yet.

The anticipation of getting flowers is so exciting.
