This must have been a big disappointment the first time it bloomed because I couldn't find any other photos of this seedling. I really like the vertical veining. 7" across.

It takes several years for a new seedling to calm down to one look, and I'm sure I have given away many I probably should have kept, but space is critical, as you know.

OH yes space I need more!, not really enough to weed, although the past few days we've been altering the shape of a border round the house it was to narrow and curvy and shrubs were growing over the grass so we took out a couple of curves and widened it which means I have space to fill!! exciting I celebrated by buying a new Daylily I'd had my eye on not for hybridising but just because I liked :-), although you may have some ideas for it ;-) ''Pixie Pinwheel Party' a small flowered one.

I looked at the Diploids of Elizabeth Salter to see what she might be doing with this, and she is just plain sneaky - everything is unknown × unknown. (I went to her website www.salterdaylilies.com) But looking at her Sophisticated Statement, you might want to try Carpathian Cavalier. Watchyl Lavender Blue would also be a good one (for PPP and CC). I have seeds developing for Crystal Blue Persuasion × Watchyl Lavender Blue.

That is a bit sneaky lol, I looked at Sophisticated Statement very pretty .Ooo yes I'll make a note of those two to try when it flowers, looking which other spidery dips I've got maybe Heavenly Curls and Frilly Bliss too? for a patterned spider.
