I don't normally cut flowers to bring into the house, but this rose bud had been bashed in the winds on Friday/Saturday. It's a David Austin rose - I planted four shrubs about 2 years ago at the front of my house. Haven't ever really been that thrilled with them until now... They have the most flowers ever! Is it because they are now established? Or is it because it's a good year for Roses...? ;o)
