I love this dahlia Sheila. It lasts very long (in comparison) in a vase.

Really Amazing color... this year i will start with few ...
Wish if i could get a double color like yours...

Thank you nick for your comment Nick. There are many multi-coloured dahlias. They are such a kaleidoscope of colours. I hope that you will find some. :-)

When i was a kid it was fun to grow dahlias and roses though dalias need more attention than roses!!.. all that check, feed, spray, manure, control NPK.. giv support, check bud formation ... again feed :))... protect against wind, birds and insects.. and fun part was when they use to bloom(amazing size and color) those experts would come and ask hey what manure you use !!! Whts the secret...

Anyway i will check for bi or multicolor.. and start once again !!!! :). .. but really this one is outstanding..

Thanks Nick, Dahlias are lots of work. I have to lift them every fall because they would rut in the winter here on Vancouver Island but they are very showy and I have lots of them. Bugs like them too though.
I will be looking for your pictures.
