Close-up of a flower. A lot of my hydrangeas are going to flower well this year, I tried mulching them with straw for the winter and it really did a good job of protecting the flower buds. Blue Billow is always the first to bloom and opens a couple weeks before any of the others. I tried turning the flowers blue but ended up with shades of purple and blue. It looks nice so I'll call it a happy accident.
