Thunderstorm

Picture of lightning from a bad storm that passed through the other night. Every once in a while a strong storm will pass through and this was one of the biggest we've had in a while. A couple tornadoes touched down nearby but luckily there were no injuries and the damage wasn't too bad.

Yeah I think the same storm that hit here hit the northeast states pretty hard the next day, how bad was it?

We had torrents of rain for two days, but we needed the rain. Father's Day was a soaker.

I've heard it's been very hot and dry for most of the country but so far it's been relatively cool here with a whole lot of rain since spring. I hope it doesn't end up being a hot dry summer, those are the worst.

The weather seems pretty erratic here. It's hard to describe hot, cold, wet, dry - we get it all. Thanks to all the snow we had over the winter, we don't have water shortage like California - thank God for that!
