Beautiful colour and form, love it!

A classic DA rose Mum! I agree, the colour is lovely. That form isnt ideal for Scotland though. They usually end up as a load of mouldy, mushy balls! Thats why I now tend to choose single or more robust flower forms in roses.

it did that on me last year, but it is good this year -so far!

What a beauty, I didn't know this one, such a delicate colour. Karen I had a mme Pierre Oger balling on me several times in france, but both times she recovered and did an early repeat which was healthy. Unless I overwatered, which is most unlikely, I never knew the reason. I think some roses are just more susceptible, especially the old varieties and the cup shaped roses. But a beauty she is, has she got a lemony scent Oliveoil?

Resi I can hardly detect any perfume on this one, but love the colour.

I found Isaac Pereire was awful for mouldy balls!

I only know ab the lemon fragrance because I saw it in the description when I looked her up.
Isn't it funny how differently plants can behave under different circumstances. My madames isaac never balled, I think that would have seriously pissed me off as I would have missed that big scent, the strongest of all my roses.

Had a sniff of it this morning and yes there is a very slight hint of lemon, but only slight.

Lightheaded now from all that sniffing ??!
thank you for confirming though.

just had another sniff lol its definitely lemon but have no idea what the other perfume is I detect in it, maybe my old nose not good anymore. lol. think as the sun gets around on the roses they seem to lose their perfume. Early morning and late evening when it has cooled off a little is probably the best time for detecting scents.

Yes, I agree...when I step out first thing the scents are stronger, and in the evening. Sometimes I find it more powerful at a distance. Strange.

only lightly perfumed, but it makes up for that with the colour so delicate.
