Oh Wow!! I have my first flower open on 'Life is a Highway' today it is just as good in real life, I'm waiting for a flower that's not been nibbled before posting a picture, just wish I could get my hands on the flippin creature that's bitten chunks out of it grrr, it really is amazing never seen anything like it!!!:-)

I remember being amazed the first time I saw a flower on Life is a Highway, and next year it should really put on a show. I am surprised by the bug problem you are having, since there are very few pests that touch daylilies.

Thought it might be tabby cat,today I caught him biting a chunk out of an agave, strange cat lol.
Can't be him though as some on the allotment are nibbled and don't think he goes down there.

My cats don't do more than jump up and destroy the flowers. They leave the pods and tags alone.
