Verbena is my favourite 'container' plant . . . such subtle colours and flowers all summer.

Is that unusual for you, Karen - 'no bedding'?

Mmm...not really, but i do usually have some in my containers. Actually, I'm fibbing. I have Stocks that I grew from seed! I wasn't thinking of them!

Sometimes the GC's don't have them much Sandra. Ours has had a dire selection of bedding this year...the one near me that begins with D. But there's another one at Arbroath that always has fabulous bedding and hanging basket plants, so I'm not suffering. This year my baskets are full of mini cucumbers!

I was lucky and found these Verbena as plugs, in March. Potted them up and they've made me smile ever since . . . thanks Bloomer and Klahanie!

I would agree. I love verbena for bedding. I don't have any this year....no bedding at all. Actually, I have only just removed the 'winter' flowering pansies from around the apple trees...they certainly lasted!
