You could be lost in there for a long long time!

Last summer two girls, age 10 and 12, were lost overnight in this very area...

Oh dear, that's scary!

there's plenty of wildlife. We had a momma bear and three little cubs in our garbage shed last week!

Is there a shortage of food for them or do they come to scavenge routinely now? By day or early am?
I would love to see a photo if you poss can..?

We've had late frosts, M. No apples to speak of and the wild blueberries which usually are part of the bears' diet and food for the cubs have been frozen off too... they come to habitations reluctantly...but some have become habituated to garbage dumps. Our municipality has taken great care to containerize our garbage to be trucked away to a large landfill. The bears around here have no choice but to raid homesteads. It was in the early a.m. that they visited our shed...so no pics to speak of. Last night the raccoons kept me up... bleating and quarreling while they foraged our shed... too bad for them T. keeps our garbage well protected now and makes regular trips to the facility in the hot weather. I hope I'm not tempting fate when I say that I haven't seen or heard anything about the bears since they arrived. That same night they visited the farmer up the hill and he saw them on his deck! The farmer has a young family and goats and a llama but his concern in calling us was that they may have chased his goats onto our property! I have no problem with his goats! They are properly penned and stanchioned but I surely didn't like the digging piggies that he used to let run free.

Bears on the deck and in your shed eh, that has to be a new one for goy ?
