Two were bought as pseudobulbs only, so if they grow some roots and leaves, yes a forest. I need to reduce my originals. What was the colour of the one I sent you? One year my white and pink had 130 + flowers, counted them.

You sent me a yellow, the shoot on the side wasn't a flower spike it was new leaves its huge now, any tips to get it to flower?
130 flowers !! crikey.
I've only ever grown the phalaenopsis which are dead easy.

Cymbidium flower v. early spring, feeding them with an orchid feed helps. Our conservatory goes down to 7degrees c in winter occasionally a little lower. They are much more tolerant to changes in temperature than Phalaenopsis, which I cannot look after during the winter. My cymbidium are outside at present under the car port for their holidays in solid plastic hanging baskets and plastic wall tubs.

Thanks :-), I have some orchid feed already as you'll know a small bag lasts forever.

Yes, I had powder/fine granules in a small tub, but all used up ages ago, v good. Had the tiniest wee spoon with it. Don't seem able to get that now, just the liquid.
Ps, As you probably appreciate they do have large leaves. Do you want a pink flower Cym?
