My Hoya is in bloom under the ornamental Cherry.

I agree. Even better it's outdoors! Sometimes we are too inflexible with what we regard as houseplants.

It looks great! You have it growing outside on a tree...that's how they grow here in San Diego. It's not hardy outside there though, right?

I know it's somewhat hardy because I used to see many in the San Francisco Bay Area growing on cyclone fences. I think temps below 30ºF (-1ºC) can damage this vine, though.
I don't have this vine because the sweet sap drips on everything and then the ants come. The hummingbirds love this vine!

I think it can take a few more degrees of cold without being frozen to the ground.
That's amazing! Frost this time of year. I can't imagine that. We have a very strong monsoonal flow setting up starting today with very hot and humid weather. We could get more rain over the next couple of days. This is very good news if the rains come.

I like to put some plants out for the summer not only does it save me looking after them but sometime strange things happen they burst into flower it happened to an Orchid the other week it was the first time it had bloomed for ages !
