Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee'

Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' (Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee')

My Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' is flowering like crazy. It also is growing very quickly. I have to keep cutting it back. Photo taken July 27, 2015.

This viney shrub grows extremely fast here. I wasn't sure when I planted it in the ground it would survive our winter. I know we grow a lot of tropical plants grow here; however, this one is a very, very tropical plant.

Yes, this one just keeps growing all summer and fall.

Thats great do you feed it if so what with.

6 Jun, 2017

Yes, I give it chelated 16-16-16 fertilizer. It's easy.

7 Jun, 2017

I have never heard of that one if I ever find one I ll know what to feed it now lol.

7 Jun, 2017

Chelated 16-16-16 is usually sold in boxes or in big bags. I usually purchase a 20 lb bag, which can last 3 years. Chelated ferlizer last over a period of three months or more. It fertilizes the plants every time you water.

On a different note: I noticed my Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' is sending up small plants around the mother plant.

Thats good it lasts 3 months of feeding thanks for that.

How wonderful you ll have to take a photo for us to see the little plants.

8 Jun, 2017

I will most likely taken them out. I'll pot them up.

8 Jun, 2017

Yes they will like that I bet at least you will have some if any thing happened to the mother plant.
