Lovely Dd. i have these too. Hopefully youll get flowers next year as the hips are nice afterwards. Like cocoa beans.

The stems on mine are very long with flowers at end, I only prune out the dead or untidy bits. Yours seems more compact, and leafy.

Dawn I know the feeling, especially trying to maintain a garden the size of yours!!
Siris we cut it almost to the ground late Spring, and have done for the last few years!
