Green on green

Green on green

Heathers on the hill. They do not seem to be bothered by the heat and dry conditions.

Thank you Sheila and Amy.
I did not even noticed the blue on blue until you mentioned it Sheila. Some things we just take for granted do not we?

Sorry about my English grammar.

Your grammar is fine, Klahanie . . . we just shorten what you said to "don't we?" instead of "do not we?", but you couldn't be expected to know that :)) We can understand you perfectly!

Hi Klahanie,
this is like Japan garden. Beautiful, I have never seen this view from your garden.
We do not expect English to understand Czech or Slovak, do we? Lol.

Thanks Katarina. There are many faces of our property I have not posted .
As for my English...I live in Canada for many years and should know better. And not to forget that I am married to Canadian. I claim that I speak several languages but non of them really well. Including my mother tongue. Getting older and my memory is not what it used to be. :-(

Do not apologize, Klahanie. This is gardening webpage, not column in Washigton Post.
Moreover, multi language people are tolerant to each other. It is worse, if someone is rich KGB spy close to Downing Street, then if somebody doesn´t speak 100 % foreign language if it isn´t his native language.

Well said Katarina! I love to 'try' and speak French, but don't want to have my mistakes pointed out :)

Thank you, Sheila.
What about Polish? Well, it is not so diplomatic language as French, but Poland had a big role in termination of Osman and then Russian empires and definitely has a big population in the UK.

Yes, you're right . . . I only know "Chin dobree" for "Greetings"! but don't know the correct spelling. (My husband worked in Warsaw for a year, so he learnt a few words of Polish.)

That is probably "Dzień dobry", Good day!
