This bush always keeps in a good shape, unlike many that get woody... :o)

You have to cut them back quite hard after flowering or they will get both woody and leggy. I had a Buddleia of a different kind and one year had a visiting tree man take a chain saw to it. The next year it was magnificent.
Mind you I did talk to it, as I do many plants!

I talk to my plants all the time Arbuthnot! Klahanie, I've had this particular variety in for a number of years and have always found it to keep a good shape... ;o)
