greedy plants which they need to make all those flowers , and dont feed and they produce 50% less.

I think I did give it a little seaweed feed

I stop feeding most plants apart from hanging baskets this time of year so they can toughen up for the winter
Seaweed is a favorite of mine i mostly use as a foliar feed

I haven't fed anything for a while so I won't now if that's the case, but what about late flowering plants like asters and I have some achilleas with quite a few buds after deadheading? is it best to leave them?

We are going into September, and we have had rain galore.
Personally I find it just a waste but a foliar feed with seaweed would make them freshen up with out creating fresh soft growth that the slugs and snails would enjoy as well.
