Spot the chair!

Ain't that the truth. We've had quite a bit of sun today, but its very chilly. Goose pimple weather.

It has been quite hot here today Karen. I have been following the sun round the garden with my basket chair. Ended up round the side of the house beside the compost bin with a glass of wine in hand. How desperate am I?

I take it your compost isn't too smelly then? ;) I've got on a T-shirt, a vest and a sweatshirt and I am still too cold outside!

Think I could manage a glass of wine though!

There certainly have been too many dull days, Chris. Quite warm here today, we picked loads of Blackberries and had them in a sponge pudding with ice cream just now. Yum!

Shirley!!!! ;) lol! I must admit, I've been ever so naughty today. We had friends over for a BBQ and I had Eton Mess (OK, it was with frozen yoghurt, but nevertheless) and even a cup-cake! And NOW I'm drinking red wine to recover from all the cooking and cleaning up! I'm going to have to be super duper for the rest of this week. :(( It's unlikely isn't it?

Karen, today was a "Who cares how high my blood sugar goes?" day! I shall regret it tomorrow. Weather warm enough for your BBQ?

Karen, I think I must have burned lots of calories after digging out a small cherry tree today! Wrong place, which I should have realised when I planted it a couple of years ago. Very satisfying to have got right down to the roots, some of which had spread under the lawn to about 3ft. away from the tree trunk. Good to know it's been warmer for you today :o)

Yes! Thanks Shirley! I wish burning calories kept me slim. I'd be very skinny! Unfortunately, exercise only makes me hungry and builds my muscles. :(

I doubt I've lost any weight Karen, definitely have aching muscles though!

I hope you have managed to sit in your chair this week,Chris..and dare I say,on the 16th,when you posted this photo,we were picnicking in the Museum Gardens,in York? thought not ,sorry .x

It has been a rather sunless week here Bloomer and I am not at my best when I have to do without sunshine, especially when it is meant to be summer!!!
The chair has been put away and all hope gone!!!

I think we have been very lucky this week,Chris..not good for later today though..Thunderstorms and heavy rain ? but they might be wrong..still quite warm just now..the calm before the storm maybe..:o(
