First flowering on my Water Hawthorn. In my small pond, which I have just cleaned out and moved forward and rotated thro 180o. The pond that is, not the plant. A swap with Homebird of pond plants.

Shirl, I just refilled the pond 2 days ago. Probably won't stay that clear for long, especially if we get some sunshine, if only.

Well, we did have sunshine earlier but it's back to grey and chilly now (4pm) :o(

Not too bad here today, Tuesday. Divided the water lily in the top pond, what a job. Have an old garden saw to hack of the roots. Done now, but the water is all churned up and muddied.

Our little pond is one of those pre-formed ones ... I removed some of that duckweed( think that's right - looks like cress to me!) earlier and disturbed a couple of biggish frogs .....

All my pond are preformed ST. Trying to keep them free of duckweed is a problem. Just one piece and look away, masses.
Amy, A first flower is special, but I did know what this looks like.

I am enjoying the one flower, which I don't think is enough for a scent, and besides I have a runny nose cause it's cold outside. Thank you all the same Hb.
