Comeback of the year. (Cordyline petiolaris)

Last October of '14 this Cordyline petiolaris fell over having ALL its roots and base of trunk eaten by Gophers. I grew this since it was a wee 3" "houseplant" as the label said.
So,I then put it in a pot of 100% perlite- only much later I tossed some soil on it.
It re rooted. I never will put this in ground again. Those roots even look tasty to me...

They are plants you can count on HB. ( I just saw this post of yours-sorry) Although,I have surrounded this plant with heavy pots of other plants since this photo was taken. They are like sails in windy weather.
It was alike a comic routine..I came home on a windy day and it was on its side...I stand it up..go in the house for a half hour, come out its on its side again. I stand it up once more..it falls right then again, and I caught it -doh!.
That's when the Snake plant planter was put on one side with the Dracenae on the other. So far so good.
