I've actually started removing some of my border pinks. They have been awful all year....just brown soggy lumps on the end of the stems. I don't think I'll keep many of them...they're not good in bad weather.

I'm not surprised you like this one HB, it's lovely.

Our pinks have been dreadful this year, thinking of taking them all out except for the ground hugging ones....

I tried chopping them back, some have started to show signs of new growth, but most have died off, and they were only a few years old...:-[
