Oil rigs in Cromarty Firth

There were more rigs in the firth than we have seen for years. Many have been towed in for servicing, and because the oil prices are so low at the moment. These ones have platforms which are raised right up to the top of the legs when they are out at sea.
There were some pretty impressive cloudscapes while we were there, mixed weather and sudden sharp showers. Some sun, too, I'm glad to say!
