.....sigh. Freezing again here today. I think we were the only part of the UK not to be in the sunshine. We went over the river to Fife and it was lovely there....5 miles as the crow flies!

That's a very nice plant. I know it grows very quickly and gets pretty tall.
I can't imagine having cold weather this time of the year. We've had such weather here the last several weeks and temps are heading up to about 100ºF (38ºC) or maybe higher the next 3 or 4 days. Yuck!

September, October and November are typically the hottest, sunniest and driest months in San Diego. This year the nights have been exceptionally hot. It's partially due to the "Super El Niño" the Pacific Ocean (San Diego County's coast) temps are warm right now, from: 76 - 79ºF (24.4 - 26.1ºC). This is warmer than normal
