My raised alpine bed September 2015 no.1

Absolutely beautiful, love the shape, the accent plants, and the rocks.

This is what excites me about gardening, seeing beds like this. Very traditional gardening feel about it. Beautiful:)

thank you Wells and Raglanv. I did a blog away back on 24th August 2012 about the way this bed developed. It looks better now and I am so pleased I made the effort to do it.

We have lived here for over forty years Raglanv. Before I retired I preferred shrubs and trees. They were easy to care for when I was busy with work and raising a family. Now I seem to be forever wandering in to unknown territory. This website has been a constant source of inspiration. The members have such diverse interests and share their projects and favourite plants and are never short of informed knowledge from their own experiences.
