I've had this for many years..it came close to death in my shady backyard. I put it out front as a puny hanger on. Its made a great comeback.

Most of the hybrids are tough as nails. Philodendron 'Xanadu', 'Showboat' are some of the toughest. The most tropical which does grow very well here is P. 'Brazil' it's a very fast grower.
