I'm sure you'll do well with these Julia. It is a very hardy and adaptable plant grown from Southern Canada to Argentina. Are you growing these as houseplants or for the garden? Once you get the first plants established, they look after themselves and freely self seed. Your biggest challenge will be keeping them in bounds.

I'm intending growing them as houseplants Paul. I already have a friend who has begged a plant lol! They should also make great little presents...I hope!

You can propagate them either by division or seed sowing. If you have any form of Tradescantia growing in your area, you can cross-pollinate them to produce a new kind of plant.
Hey, have you read the book "Little Shop of Horrors"? It's a definite "MUST READ."

lol! No, but I know the play and I see where this is going! Incidentally I haven't forgotten about reading 'To Kill A Mocking Bird' I've just been reading other stuff lately.
I've heard back from Bernard and he says he'd be happy to help if he can. His email address is;

Thank you Julia. I'm glad you appreciate a little light humor. I will gladly send Bernard an email. I've been pretty busy myself with traveling around for work and such. I just got back from California which was exhausting. Good luck with the seeds and happy gardening.
