Berberis, Dodonea, Spiraea,Corokia, Drimys, Lagerstroemia, Ceanothus etc all able to grow thanks to the lifting of the Arbutus canopy....

And Arbutus has lovely cinnamon coloured bark, so well worth making it more visible too!
