This is the fruit from my dragonfruit vine. It was very sweet and delicious. Photo taken Oct. 27, 2015.

Yes, if you read about them they have lots of vitamins and tons of anti-oxidants. So it's considered a "miracle" fruit. :>))

It's commercially grown in San Diego County. There's huge acreage of dragon fruit (or Pitaya) grown in Mexico.

We can buy most exotic fruit over here, I will look out for it! not that it will taste anything like its fresh counterpart!!

I think it's a fruit which stores pretty well. I've never purchased one before from the store, even though I've seen it for sale at the grocery store.
