I agree, over here it was getting to be a bit of a nightmare. It's for little kids, not those big guys who swipe everything!

That's one reason I just have a halloween party for the kids and their friends. We all have so much fun.

Hallowe'en's getting to be quite a big celebration in the UK now. When I was a child, it passed almost without notice. November 1st (All Saints) was always in the half-term holiday, and on the 2nd, (All Souls), we used to go to church to pray for people who had died. But Hallowe'en meant very little to us.
