We've had some thick mists the last week Paul and it's been quite dull. Gerry managed to mow the lawns a couple of days ago by using a broom to sweep off the dampness first.

Are you going to save seeds off this one Paul? it's a lovely colour..

humm that's a good point Sandra. I never even thought of that. If I can figure out how to get the seeds, I might give it a try. I agree. I really like the color of this one. This one was included in a butterfly seed mix, but I'd like to save this one.

They are quite easy to take seeds from these Paul..Take a length of a stem that has flowered, and remove any leaves..Hang it upside down inside a paper bag, tied at the top,and let them dry out..the seeds will drop into the bag..then store them somewhere dry,in an airtight place.. till it's time to sow then in seed and cutting compost..I put mine in a sealed envelope or similar..and don't forget to label it...it's amazing how you think you will remember what they are...but if you are anything like me,you won't ,when the time comes :o)
