Dying leaves of a blue-leaved Hosta, contrast with Podophylum Spotty Dotty, bought this spring.

Move mine back a bit, as I did not think it would get so big. Also removed the pear tree next to it. There are 11 leaves on it now.

You have removed another tree? eleven leaves? I still have just the two leaves it came with .. so frustrating....

No, just the one Pear tree by the entry and the Apple tree in the other corner. There are 4 big leaves you can see, the others are underneath and much darker.
Did you buy yours last year, if so did it keep its' leaves over winter?

No I bought them both early this year..... and they have not grown one leaf!!

Sorry to hear of your lack of growth. I only bought mine after seeing yours, and only the one, should have also bought Kaleidoscope. Maybe next year!
Ps when I say it is in full shade, it is not overhung with tree branches, just that buildings, fences etc stop any sun reaching that particular spot at any time summer or winter.

Went up the garden to see how they were, and they are exactly as I bought them!! two leaves on both......might look up their cultivation.

I think we bought them Mail order, from the same place. At your open day I asked you where you got them.

Our spotty Dottie's are still going, moved the one to semi-shade to see if it does better than in full shade..
