Gf, will be interested to know if you manage to keep it over winter. It is in the ground is it?

I'm not getting notified of any comments on any of the pics I've posted so its pure chance if I happen to see them.....
D. obscura originates from Spain.
It is a sub-shrubby perennial & will remain evergreen in a mild winter. Think of it as a woodland plant that hates to get its feet wet & give it a sheltered site to be on the safe side.
I got this plant from Jane at Norfolk Cottage Garden Plants & Seeds, she says it is hardy in her garden & advises cutting down the spikes after flowering.
Sirus, it's in the ground in the mid part of shady border.

I didn't know that but as it's a mucky time of year & much is dormant you'd be best to look at her site & arrange a visit if there's anything you want or she will mail to you.
FB is a good way of seeing what she does & messaging her too.

Thanks for the info Gf , I think I'm going to leave it until the spring as I do like to see different plants in bloom if possible ... :o)

Very nearly bought this Foxglove, but decided might be too tender, it is lovely thought.
