Mine have been in for a good few years now, 5 or 6 I think. They are pretty trouble free.
What ones did you get?

Kesselringii, Buds Yellow,Alba Sibiricia, Midwinter Fire, Flaviramea, Aurea, and Elegantissima.... my favourite has to be Kesselringii....

I bet Kesselringii will look good against the yellow stems, look forward to seeing pics.

Mid winter fire is an amazing one. I have yellow and red willow, I must cut them down next Spring.

I forgot to do that last March, Dawn, I was preoccupied with my broken wrist, actually I didn't do anything in the garden apart from the hanging baskets.

Oh dear GreenFingers, you must have been so debilitated, I hope you've recovered. You can look forward to next year now then. I didnt do mine this spring either but they will be ready. I love all Cornus, I have the red and yellow ones along the pond edge and red willow too - Salix alba vitellina 'Britzensis' and the yellow stemmed one, name escapes me. The only thing Im looking forward to, if we get real snow, is seeing the red and yellow stems contrasting with the white.

Dawn, they said likely to be 2 yrs recovery & only 80% use but happy to say it's almost normal after 8 months. Heavy lifting is a bit too much but normal use is pretty good.

I was quite depressed about the state the garden got in but joining GOY got me motivated again & even this late in the year I haven't yet caught up but it's getting there.

2 years! That's a long time but guess you need to build up the strength again. 80% is pretty good, isnt it. Ahhh Im glad GOY has helped, its a brilliant site, isnt it, so much inspiration and good ideas and lovely folk :-)

I was horrified when they said that but happily for me it hasn't taken even 1/2 that long & I have 99% full use - so good to prove them wrong.

That's really good, you're a tough cookie :-)
