Asphodelus acaulis - 2015

Small bulb, native to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Needs a warm spot in well-drained soil, and protection from summer wet. It should flower in the winter and early spring, but the mild weather has triggered it to start a little early.

Yes, they feel like they have a waxy coating which would help against desiccation in the wild.
