I bought these way back in April from Wilkinsons for £10 each, They Looked a bit "Dusty" and sad, But boy have they grown, The pic doesen,t do them justice really...I saw some today in B&Q for £30.00..Hehe

They are Irish, I think i need a "better" camera, as my pics dont copy what I see haha

Are they hardy enough to be outside all year or will you have to bring them in over the winter? Do you use the leaves for cooking?

Hi sarah65, I dont know about winter protection, ill have to google it,thanks for reminding me, and no i dont use them for cooking, bcos i can,t cook and wouldn't know what to do with it :)

Haha ...what a treat...! just for future reference, Youngdaisy...if a recipe says add a Bay Leaf that's what they're talking about!! I love bargains ...especially when they turn out to be smashing!! Great idea you had...they look quite healthy..so you're on the right road! Cheers!

£40 Andy & jill, Wow I did get a bargain, One of the pots had a small chip at the bottom and i got £4 knocked off that too, I love Wilkies :)))

I love the use of colour in this photograph. It makes for a grand entrance, one you cannot miss! They grow quite quickly from small plants too, I bought 2 at my local herb centre and pinched out the tops which makes them bushy in no time at all. Thanks for sharing with us....:-)
