I would think this plant would be easy to grow outside there. It's a very hardy plant.

I thought it was hardy down to 20ºF (-6.6ºC). That's very cold! It was that cold here today! Just kidding it was 82ºF (28ºC) today. LOL! :>)

Meanie, it has gotten really cold and windy here in the last two days. It was in the 80's (28ºC) for several days, now it's only in the low 60's (17ºC) during the day. This morning the low was 42ºF (6ºC), we're freezing!!!!!!!!!!

By Thursday and Friday temps will be back up to around 74ºF (23ºC). Thank God! The much-needed El Niño storms may be arriving next week. YAY!!! :>))

17ºC is about what we have daytime at the moment with just a three or four degree drop at night.

Yes, some plants it's the wet not the cold that gets them.

This year was the hottest year on record for most of California and the U.S. The Pacific Ocean waters off California is still well above normal. The "Super" El Niño is causing a lot of flooding problems for the Pacific North-West; however, not for us quite yet. (it's not a typical El Niño pattern)

Not warm but at least it's not the usual December cold. Mostly cloudy as hell though and drizzling/raining a lot to go with the recent winds.

Lots of flooding over here in the north of England as well.

It's been very sunny here most of the time. It's just how inland San Diego is this time of year. I want cloudy and rainy weather. LOL! :>)

I'm sick of the wet weather!

You're sick of wet weather and we need it so desperately! Last night we had rain (showers) for about half an hour, only! :>(

This year on Christmas Day may be the coolest weather in years, only low 60's (17ºC) and showers. The last several years it's been 80 - 85ºF (27 - 30ºC) on Christmas Day.
