Thuja 'Green Giant'

Since I can't grow any kind of cypress where I live, these 'Green Giant' arborvitaes are the fastest growing trees available to me. I've heard they can grow up to 4-5' a year but these 5 year-old trees are around the 10 ft. mark. They're also much prettier than eastern arborvitaes, makes me wonder why eastern arborvitaes are planted in every single yard in the mid-west
