Corylus avellana 'Contorta'

My grandma had one in her backyard for years that was huge and I can remember how pretty it looked after a snowfall. Her original plant died last year but this one is a piece off of it that I started 4 years ago. If you want to avoid suckers, propagate by layering like I did. I have never once had to remove a sucker from this since it is not a grafted plant.
