Sammy is a banana slug and arrives each evening for a few cat biscuits. ( they can grow to about 5 - 6 inches long )

The bay area version is yellow. I think U.C. Santa Cruz teams are the "Banana Slugs".

I used to see those a lot in the SF Bay Area in winter. I would see a lot of them especially walking around Lake Chabot in Castro Valley. YUCK! LOL!

I used to feed these to my Red Ear Slider turtle - at least somebody liked them.

I'm glad you give her/him a share. They enjoy cat food. Sometimes my cat wants her food outside, and I have to clear the dish away immediately after she's finished, otherwise it will be full of slugs looking for a titbit :D
