I live here and I didn't know Sunflowers could live all winter.

Those sunflowers look pretty good for winter there in the SF Bay Area.

I remember the first time I saw big sunflowers growing in winter here in San Diego. I saw some and thought they wouldn't grow too well (because of the shorter days not cooler weather); however, they looked better than the ones I grew in summer. LOL!
