This is about eight to ten weeks early this year and as a result the colour is not so good. However there are enough buds to keep it going for a good few weeks so hopefully the colour will improve with the longer daylight hours.

It's a spring blooming member of the Solanaceae family from Chile. Hardy down to about -10°c or thereabouts.
I'll be trying some cuttings in the spring.

Possible for growing here then, what about coping with winter wet though?

Takes normal wetness but I doubt that it will enjoy having sodden roots.
