Wreath of Roses (for Bathgate)
A bit hazy as it's a photo of a photo.
Seeds of these roses are for sale. People don't realise that they don't grow like this naturally.

I have been very leery of these because there aren't any photos of them other than people trying to sell the seeds. Also that it can take a very long time to get the first bloom. Do you have any experience with them?

A work of art! It will certainly grab your attention. I like the overall effect. I would hang this on my front door. Thank you for posting!

Call me old fashioned but ...... I prefer blooms in natural colours, and co ordinated.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but I do wish people wouldn't dye flowers, they never look natural.

These really aren't my cup of tea either Steragram and Siris, anymore than the chrysanths in supermarkets in blue and shocking pink etc.
Very hard to co ordinate this "Joseph's Coat". This was for someone who bought the flowers and I put them in with foliage.
I asked at the flower market and was told they are moved from one bucket of dye to another to get this effect. They suck up a little blue, a little yellow, orange etc. I think they must start off white to get the coverage.
If you ever tried it with a little food colouring you'll know what I mean. Glycerine to preserve leaves is another example. You can see the glycerine travelling up and through foliage.
Selling seeds of these is a con Wylie, but by the time you've grown anything my bet is that the seller will be long gone. Most on e bay are in China and some do sell.
