My Croton is putting out new leaves in the very hot weather we've been having the last 4 days. It was 88ºF (31ºC) today and a degree cooler yesterday. Tomorrow will be hotter. Photo taken Feb. 8, 2016.

I know up in the SF Bay Area this is an extremely difficult shrub to grow outside.

Next time,I over winter on the porch. Very,very, disappointing to lose 2 years of growth.
