The weed is Bermuda Buttercup. An Oxalis and edible.

I really like this Aloe species! It's beautiful!

I don't miss pulling out the Bermuda buttercup weeds by the millions in winter, when I lived in the SF Bay Area. We have a lot here but not like up there.
